About Us

We strive neither for maximum production nor for artificial scarcity. Every You’s Guitar stands for clear intention and strict process control. Founded by Defeng You, a guitarist from a family of luthiers, with a long-standing partner workshop in China. The focus is on sound, feel, and responsiveness to the player, not material or quantity.

Design and Sound

For us, design doesn’t mean visual extravagance, but balance, proportion, and restraint.
Sound isn’t just a set of parameters, but the result of repeated listening, comparing, and adjusting—guided by experience, not by trends.
Every guitar embodies a consistent, well-founded decision and doesn’t follow shifting market currents.

Manufacturing and Craftsmanship

The guitars are carefully crafted in a Chinese family workshop, strictly according to design specifications and quality standards.
The workshop carries out every step of the process with stability, precision, and a deep understanding of the craft—manufacturing is about implementation and tradition, not creative invention.
Defeng You personally handles the final inspection to ensure that every instrument meets the intended sound and desired feel.

Philosophy and Responsibility

You’s Guitar strives for neither maximum production volumes nor artificial exclusivity.
Our goal is to create instruments that embody clear intention, trust, and musical authenticity.
Every model and every adjustment is made for a good reason.
Anyone who plays a You’s Guitar trusts in the founder’s decisions, which are implemented through a controlled process.
